Degrees and Certificate Programs
A college education is more accessible than ever. Most two-year college campuses offer evening and weekend classes, as well as distance education classes that you can access from home.

Arkansas two-year colleges offer hundreds of certificate and degree options, including health care, advanced manufacturing, information technology, aerospace technology and energy technology. You could earn a certificate within one year, which may also apply towards an associate or baccalaureate degree.

Financial Aid
There are a number of scholarships, grants, and loans available to help you pay for education beyond high school.  Visit these sites for more information:

Arkansas Course Transfer System
Transferring credits earned at a two-year college to a four-year university in Arkansas is easier than ever. T
he Arkansas Course Transfer System ensures that Arkansas public college students are guaranteed the transfer of certain credits within the Arkansas public higher education system.

Career Pathways Initiative
The Arkansas Career Pathways Initiative works in conjunction with the Departments of Higher Education and Workforce Services to provide career training and education to qualifying adults with dependent children.  Career Pathways staff can provide counseling and tutoring to help you get enrolled, choose classes, and get you and your family on the road to a better life.  All 22 two-year colleges have Career Pathways programs.
